Bios

• Tiffany

  Tiffany began her Goddard experience while in college working part-time at the school. After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from James Madison University, she taught in Chesterfield County for fourteen years. Her relationship with Goddard continued, when her own two daughters attended and received an excellent foundation. “Life has come full circle now as I own the same Goddard where it all began. My mission is to nurture the social, emotional, developmental and academic needs of each child during these early formative years. Through all of my teacher, parent and owner lenses, I want to create the highest quality environment for the children, families and staff.”

  "I have been with the Goddard School at Robious Station for 4 years but have over 16 years of experience in the childcare field. Being a part of a school that promotes not just learning, but also the social and emotional development of children is so rewarding. When I'm not at Goddard, I'm probably with my own kiddo. I am the mom to a 13-year-old boy who is very active in travel ball so we are always on the go! We both share a love for baseball and traveling and have a goal of seeing all of the MLB ballparks together before he goes to college!"

  "I graduated from James River High School in 2005. I always liked having jobs babysitting the children in my neighborhood, which is why I came to work here at The Goddard School. I have a son, Paxton, who attended The Goddard School and loved it!

  "I have been in childcare for 25 years. My favorite thing about teaching is being able to be creative and have fun every day! Being able to be a part of helping a child grow has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life."

• Danielle

  "I have been in childcare for 12 years. I love being able to assist in a child’s growth and development. It's such a joy! I’m a single mother of 2 teenagers, a son and daughter, who are very active in sports and dance. I have a degree and background experience in occupational therapy. I enjoy applying those skills in the child care setting. My goal is to create an environment for infants to thrive in mentally, intellectually, emotionally, and developmentally."

  "I started at Goddard - Robious Station in 1998. Children have always played an important part in my life. I love watching when a child's face lights up when they know it is story time or music time and they are excited to participate. I love seeing the light bulbs in their minds shine as they learn something new. I feel what I do is a way of giving back to the community that I live in."

• Kasey

  "I attended Lynchburg College for nursing. I have now been working with children for about 15 years. My favorite thing about working with children is when a child learns or grasp a new concept or skill. I have been married for 11 years and I have 4 of my own children - two girls and two boys. I used to show and train horses and I still ride at my family's farm when I have time."

  "I have been teaching for over 29 years. I enjoy watching children learn and grow during the time that they are in my care. It's so rewarding and wonderful to see. I am a mom to two beautiful daughters and two amazing grandsons, who I enjoy spending my free time with."

  "I grew up in a home child care environment and started helping out and caring for the little ones at a young age. So, I've been working with children now for 6 years and I love it! I love their enthusiasm and energy to try new things and I find a child's good hearty laughter completely infectious."
